This year, our AGM at Patterdale clashes with Rememberance Sunday. I am down on the programme to lead a walk on Sunday the 15th. Last year on Rememberance Sunday a few of us laid a wreath from the club on the summit of Scaffell Pike. The summit cairn is actually a war memorial to all the services people of Copeland.

Tim and Di have been the club librarians for years, but they have decided to have a clear out and have passed all the books on to me. As well as the club library, this includes a load of their own climbing guides.

If anyone wants to be club librarian, let me know. Assuming nobody does, I'll do it for now. If you are going anywhere and need a guide book, we probably have one in the club collection.
